Wind chills today made the air feel closer to 20° than 40°. More cold air overnight and then tomorrow a big winter storm will spread heavy snow and wind across much of the Midwest.
Look at the probability of central Kansas getting hit with 12" or more snow. That's the place to be snow lovers
The big storm moves to the Great Lakes by Friday, we will be on the mild side. The storm may reform near us this weekend and bring rain around D.C. but possibly the dreaded "wintry mix" in the high spots west and in the Shenandoah Valley. Tomorrow/Thursday another sunny, cold day before any storminess comes.
