High pressure will bring mainly clear skies overnight along with temperatures in the upper 20s to middle 30s. Enjoy the sunshine on Monday because big changes are on the way Tuesday.
A complex storm system will gain strength as it moves into the mid-Atlantic. A wintry mix is possible around the D.C. area before changing to all rain, however, freezing rain, sleet and snow is likely for the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge as temperature and elevation will play a more significant role. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for parts of the ABC 7 viewing area. For the counties included, please click here.
