It's been a busy week and a half with clipper after clipper moving through the D.C. area.. it hasn't amount to much. That will be the story the next two days again before the jet stream finally moves to the north and brings a bit of a warm up and quieter rest of the week. The clouds have been rolling in all morning and this afternoon will be cloudy. The snow showers will arrive this evening. Areas North and West of D.C. could see some snow for the evening commute, but the majority should hit between 8p.m. and 2 a.m. Just a dusting. Here's the NAM computer model version of what radar with look like around 10 o'clock tonight.
- Computer Forecast Radar at 10p.m.
The snow will be over by the time we wake up Tuesday morning and the day will be quiet, but the next clipper moves in quickly Tuesday night. Same deal, just a dusting. Temps warm up mid week and by the weekend we could see 50 degrees. With warmer temperatures, the next round of precipitation on Friday should be all rain.
