D.C. weather forecast: Less wind overnight, unsettled weather pattern next week

Clear skies overnight as winds ease. Clouds will increase Sunday with periods of rain by Monday.

Overnight: Mainly Clear and Cold

Lows: 18°-25° | Wind: North 5-10 mph

Sunday: Turning Partly Cloudy

Highs: 43°-48° | Wind: Southeast 5-10 mph

Monday: Morning Rain, Afternoon Clearing

Highs: 50°-55° | Wind: Southwest 5-10 mph

Skies will stay mainly clear during the overnight hours as temperatures fall into the upper teens to lower 20s. With high pressure overhead, winds will diminish during the evening and overnight hours.

Clouds will increase Sunday afternoon ahead of a rainmaker due to impact the mid-Atlantic Monday. Highs will be in the lower to middle 50s with colder temperatures and a chance for mixed precipitation by Wednesday.
