Spotty areas of snow, sleet and rain will continue to affect the D.C. area through the afternoon and evening. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 10am Saturday along and west of the Blue Ridge, though widespread travel problems should not be an issue at this time. Some spotty freezing rain or freezing drizzle will be possible tonight mainly along and west of the Blue Ridge.

Tonight, any lingering precipitation should change to rain east of the Blue Ridge. Lows will hang in the 30s tonight but will warm through the day Saturday. A developing area of low pressure will move along the east coast Saturday, bringing a chance for some moderate rain to the region. The highest rainfall totals should be along and east of I-95 tomorrow. Highs will reach the low to mid 40s.
Sunday will finally experience clearing with partly sunny skies along with some gusty northwesterly winds as this low exits off the east coast. High temperatures will be warmer around the 50 degree mark.
