The snow from the clipper stayed well north and west of the area. Skies are cloudy this morning but may brighten through the day. There will also be a chance for a few flurries tonight. Skies will clear tomorrow and temperatures will be closer to average than we have seen in a while. Pleasant February weather will continue through Thursday. More clouds return by Thursday night.
On Friday, an area of low pressure could bring scattered showers and milder temperatures to the area. But early Friday morning there could be a wintry mix well north and west of the Washington area. Over the weekend, high pressure will build back into the region and produce partly to mostly sunny skies.
