Temperatures will push 50 degrees again today before cooling for Friday into the weekend.

This Afternoon: Mostly Cloudy, Passing Shower

Highs: Around 50 | Wind: W 10-15 m.p.h.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Cool

Lows: 20s to Low 30s | Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.

Friday: Partly Sunny, Touch Cooler

Highs: Mid 40s | Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.

A weak disturbance will track through the region today bringing mostly cloudy skies along with the chance for a few stray showers. High temperatures will approach the 50 degree mark. Tonight, skies will remain mostly cloudy with lows in the 20s in the suburbs to low 30s inside the beltway.

Friday will be partly sunny, breezy and cooler with highs in the mid 40s. Even cooler weather is expected for the weekend ahead, with temperatures in the low 40s on Saturday and near the 40 degree mark on Sunday. Breezy winds will be common as the upper-level low passes just north of the area. Temperatures appear like they will stay below average through the majority of next week.
