Beautiful conditions were back across the D.C. Metro today, but clouds will be back ahead of a weak disturbance the will bring precipitation to the area late tomorrow.

Tonight: Mostly Clear and Chilly

Lows: Upper 20s to Mid 30s | Wind: WNW 8-12 m.p.h.

Wednesday: Increasing Clouds, Showers/Flurries Late

Highs: Around 50 | Wind: WSW 10-15 m.p.h.

Thursday: Partly Sunny and Cooler

Highs: Mid 40s | Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.

High pressure building into the area cleared skies late this morning and produced a pleasantly sunny and mild afternoon. Tonight, as the high continues to build, skies will be clear and it will be breezy with temperatures falling through the 30s. Skies will be sunny for a good portion of the day tomorrow but look for increasing cloudiness by tomorrow night.

Later tomorrow night, a cold front will cross the region with a chance of a wintry mix developing. Precipitation should end by sunrise on Wednesday. Partly to mostly sunny skies are forecast later Wednesday and right through the end of the week and the weekend. But temperatures will continue significantly below average.
