Spring lives up to its name to start the day, but winter prevails tonight.

This Afternoon: Increasing Clouds

Highs: Low 50s | Wind: WNW 10-15

Tonight: Cloudy with Snow Showers possible

Lows: Low 30s | Snow: 30%

Thursday: A.M. Flurries, then Mostly Cloudy

Highs: Around 40 | Wind: NW 10-15+

What a gorgeous morning!  The day started great with plenty of sunshine and spring-like conditions.  But, things will be changing this afternoon as clouds slowly start to filter that sun.  By tonight, winter weather returns as a weak disturbance kicks up a few snow showers and/or flurries.  A bit of accumulation possible on grassy areas, but another typical dusting for us with a quick in and out.  Our futurecast favors 1/4-1/2" in the metro.

Snow Showers Overnight

I think it will take a while to saturate our atmoshpere, and that could be a touch overdone. Flurries may linger briefly on Thursday morning, and then cooler than average temperatures stick around. Wonder why our March has been so chilly and will continue to be?  Check out my "March a Cold Lion" blog here.
