The winds will be brutal today but temperatures will rise as we head into Friday.
This Afternoon: Sunshine but brisk
Temperatures: 40s | Wind Chill: Feeling like 30s
Overnight: Clear and breezy
Lows: Around 30 | Wind: NW 10-15 mph
Friday: Mild, Party Sunny
Highs: Mid - Upper 50s | Wind: SW 10 - 20 mph
Winds will continue to gusts down today from the northwest between an area of high pressure situated over the Mississippi Valley and an area of low pressure located over the Upper Great Lakes.
As that high pressure moves down to the Gulf overnight tonight, we will see winds shift from the NW to the SW for the day tomorrow transporting more mild air to the region for Friday. Highs tomorrow will make it into the mid 50s with a mix of sun and clouds. Clouds on the increase through the overnight hours on Friday. The region could even experience some rain showers/snow showers overnight. As we head into the weekend, passing rain showers on tap (a snow shower not out of the question). A very unsettled weather pattern continues through Tuesday.
