Not as cloudy, not as breezy and not as chilly today.

TODAY: Partly Sunny, Breezy, Sprinkles Possible
Highs: Middle 50s
Wind: NW 10-15+ mph

OVERNIGHT: Clearing and Colder                                                                        Lows: 30s
Wind: NW 3-8 mph

TOMORROW: Mostly Sunny
Highs: Upper 50s
Wind: WNW 5-10 mph

EASTER SUNDAY:  Mostly cloudy and mild. Areas of light rain
Highs: Around 60º

As the headline suggests, Friday's weather will be a bit of an improvement. High pressure will move a little closer and we should notice the difference. Later Friday evening, as skies clear, should be the end of a pattern that has controlled the weather all week.

Saturday will be noticeably nicer. We are forecasting mostly sunny skies. That is something we haven't enjoyed for a long time. Temperatures will be very pleasant, as well, with highs reaching the upper 50s.

Easter Sunday will not be sunny. In fact, it will be cloudy and areas of light rain will likely develop around noon time. It will not be a wash-out and we do not expect heavy rain. But the chance of light rain will persist through the afternoon and evening.

On Monday, we will catch a break. The Washington area will be between weather systems. So we expect it to be nearly ideal for the Washington Nationals home opener. We are calling for partly sunny skies with highs in the 60s.
