Today, more of the same as yesterday-Spring-like changes for the weekend

This Afternoon: Increasing clouds, breezy

Temperatures: Upper 40s/ 50s | Wind: NW 10 - 20+ mph

Overnight: Partly cloudy

Lows: Mid to Upper 30s | Wind: NW 5-10 mph

Friday: Gorgeous and Mild with sunshine!

Highs: Mid 50s | Wind: NW 5 - 15 mph in afternoon

One more day in this pattern before things start to change for the better. Another chance today of seeing the increase in cloud cover, the breezy conditions and some passing showers and flurries (maybe a few small ice pellets mixed in as well!). Temperatures should reach the lower 50s today—some areas to the south will stretch into the mid-50s. It was an absolutely gorgeous morning though! Fairly mild as well! Check out the sunrises from across the region. The one below is from Aldie, VA.

By Friday, high pressure moves to the east and sunshine returns in full force. Highs reach the mid 50s for daytime highs on Friday and doing even better on Saturday. Highs move to around 60 for Saturday with all sunshine (plan some outdoor activities for Saturday—Spring has finally arrived!). Spring showers could affect Easter Sunday afternoon (maybe a sprinkle in some locations in the morning but we will mostly stay dry). Highs still in the 60s for your Sunday AND Monday. Any rain on Sunday afternoon will be light in nature and will be out by Monday morning. Enjoy Monday as well as temperatures climb into the mid-60s!! More rain and a cool down back to the 50s on tap for Tuesday.
