Skies will clear overnight as temperatures fall into the 30s.

Overnight: Gradual Clearing

Lows: 30s | Wind: NW 2-5 mph

Saturday: Mostly to Partly Sunny

Highs: 57°-62° | Wind: WNW 5-10 mph

Sunday: Midday Showers Likely

Highs: near 60° | Wind: S 10-15 mph

Skies will be clearing late tonight as that stubborn weather pattern that has control conditions all week is finally breaking down.

Tomorrow will be much nicer. We are forecasting mostly sunny skies and that is something we haven't enjoyed for a long time. Temperatures will be very pleasant, as well, with highs reaching the upper 50s.

Easter Sunday will not be sunny. In fact, it will be cloudy and areas of light rain will likely develop around noon time. It will not be a wash-out and we do not expect heavy rain. But the chance of light rain will persist through the afternoon and evening.

On Monday, we might catch a break. The Washington area will be between weather systems. So we expect it will be partly sunny for the first pitch at Nationals Park. Showers are likely Monday evening and there is a slight chance they could arrive during the ball game.
