Still no significant snow in Washington this winter (and now spring) but some close calls. By late Sunday into Monday another close call with a storm reforming off the North Carolina-Virginia coast. The latest tracks and uncertainty from folks at NWS.
Our hyperlocal futurecast keeps cold air over us, but the surface will sure warm under that strong March sun.
So any snow that does fall Sunday evening into early Monday is likely to melt on the metro area roads. But for you folks in higher elevations (1000 ft or higher) west and north, it's likely (70% chance) there will be several inches of snow by Monday morning and some slippery going. We'll keep you posted as this still yet to form storm develops and moves over the next 2 days.
