The low temperatures this morning were in the Upper 20s to low 30s.

Morning Lows

But the wind chill factor was in the low 20s.  The wind chill will be the most noticeable factor in our weather today.  The temps will be very slow to warm. While we should reach low 40s, it will feel like 30s at best this afternoon.  High pressure builds in tomorrow and early into the weekend, so we will have more sunshine, with highs around 50.  While that is progress from today, it is still unseasonably cool.  Our average high today is 58.  In case you missed Bob Ryan's blog last night, he noted that it could be worse. On this date in 1885 we had a string of days where the high reached 20, 31, 27, and then 28 degrees before recovering.  Moving onward, the end of the weekend and early next week still looks interesting.  Snow (along with rain mix likely) is expected Sunday night and Monday.  Stay tuned for any changes and more details on that.
