Cool temperatures and a few sprinkles will be possible the rest of the afternoon.

Tonight: Mainly Cloudy and Chilly

Lows: Low 30s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.

Wednesday: Partly Sunny, Breezy

Highs: Near 50 | Wind: NW 10-20 m.p.h.

Clouds are rolling back into the majority of the region this afternoon with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Heading into the overnight hours, clouds will still hang across the region with lows in the mid 30s downtown to upper 20s and low 30s in the outlying suburbs. Wednesday will be a lot like today, with highs in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees under partly sunny skies. It will be breezy at times out of the northwest around 10 to 20 mph and a passing sprinkle will be possible.

Cool conditions will continue through the end of the week with highs around 50 degrees Thursday and in the mid 50s Friday. The weekend will feature a sunny start with temperatures in the mid 50s and a chance for showers by Sunday afternoon with highs in the upper 50s. Our average high is 59 degrees.

This may be the first time with cooler than average temperatures in consecutive months since December 2010-January 2011.
