An unsettled weather pattern will keep shower chances in the forecast over the next few days.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy and mild. Few sprinkles west of Washington.

Lows: 50s | Wind: SE 5-10 mph

Tuesday: Becoming partly sunny, breezy, and warmer. Isolated PM showers possible.

Highs: Lower 70s | Wind: S 5-15 mph

Wednesday: Partly sunny and warm with a 30% chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Highs: Upper 70s | Wind: ESE 5-15 mph

Light southeasterly winds have kept conditions cool and cloudy today and not much change is anticipated tonight. A weak frontal system will approach the area tomorrow. At the same time, a slight change in wind direction will bring warmer air into the area. For the next few days we will see a slow but steady increase in temperatures and in instability. There will a slight chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms each of the next few days. By Friday, high temperatures will be near 80 degrees and a strong cold front will be approaching from the west. This means there is a high likelihood of widespread showers and thunderstorms during the day. Much cooler air will arrive for the weekend.
