After a very warm/hot week with well above April temperatures, a cold front sliding through brought hefty showers and even a few rumbles of thunder earlier today.
The Stormwatch7 weather team uses numerous tools to forecast the weather. One of these tools is our hyper-local futurecast. You may have seen us show it on TV and we even have a slider of it on the bottom of our weather homepage. This local temperature and radar simulation preformed fairly well with today's weather.
Check out Bob Ryan's video explainer of the model's performance.
