With an area of high pressure anchored off the coast, southwesterly winds will pump warm and even slightly humid air across the region. Overnight lows will fall into the 40s to middle 50s with a rapid warm-up on Monday. Highs will quickly accelerate into the 60s during the morning hours and middle 70s by afternoon. Highs will climb to near 80 degrees on Tuesday.  The last time the temperature was above 80 at Reagan National was October 24th.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week ahead of a cold front that will trigger showers and thunderstorms on Thursday.
