A small area of low pressure off the N.C. coast continues to interact with an area of higher pressure off the New England coast. The result is another cool, gray, damp day with areas of drizzle. Over the next 24 hours, the low pressure will dissipate and high pressure will strengthen and expand. This will result in clearing skies during the day on Wednesday. And with that high pressure center dominating conditions throughout the mid-Atlantic states, we are forecasting a stretch of dry weather.
It will be partly cloudy to occasionally mostly sunny on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will be within a few degrees of average each day. That mean to expect highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
