Mild temperatures continue mid-week, but we do the dance with a mix of sun and clouds.

This Afternoon: Mix of Sun and Clouds

Highs: Mid-Upper 70s | Wind: Light

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, chance of a shower

Lows: Mid 50s | Rain: 30%

Thursday: A.M.Shower possible, then partly sunny

Highs: Near 80 | Rain: 30$

Look up Northern Maryland, and you'll see a big blue line with triangles on it in the sky.  Ok, maybe not, but there is a cold front stalling out overhead.

This Afternoon

Those of us north of the front will be a bit cloudier and cooler with highs in the 60s, near 70. Those of us South of the front will be a bit sunnier and warmer with highs in the mid to upper 70s with a very slight chance of an isolated shower mainly south and west of DC.  The front will retreat to the north overnight as a warm front and bring a few showers late night and early Thursday  morning.  The afternoon should be dry with partly sunny skies and highs near 80 degrees.

Thursday

The big weather feature of the week is a strong cold front presently in the plains that will bring severe weather there, including tornadoes.  It arrives here late Friday and brings showers and thunderstorms and a big cool down for the weekend.
