Near normal temperatures arrive in time for the weekend, back to early summer next week!

This Afternoon: Clearing

Temperatures: 60s/70s | Wind: NW 5-10 mph

Overnight: Starry night, cool

Lows: Mid 40s | Wind: NW 5-10 mphs

Saturday: A slight breeze, gorgeous

Highs: Mid 60s | Rain: WNW 5-15 mph

Rain finally wiping away some of that tree pollen that was out there!  Some sunshine will come out this afternoon and there will be a breeze from time to time, but rapid clearing as the rain pushes offshore. DCA received about 0.80" of rain during the morning hours.

Highs will move into the lower to mid 70s for most locations however there will be a big temp spread in store for this afternoon with 60s on tap well north and west of town and upper 70s south of Fredericksburg. High pressure builds in tonight and brings clear skies. If you are headed to Nats park, it will be a beautiful night, clear but chilly with temperatures in the 60s for the duration of the game.

ZZZZZ

Overnight temps will be chilly, dropping into the mid 40s. Breezy for Saturday afternoon with highs right around normal, in the mid 60s. That high pressure will keep skies clear so expect plenty of sunshine tomorrow (with the exception of west of the blue ridge where skies will be partly sunny). Same deal on Sunday with sunny conditions and a breeze from time to time. Highs once again in the mid to upper 60s. Temperatures gradually go up through next week.
