Cooler now but wet for morning

Overnight: Cloudy, Cooler, Showers late

Lows: 54-59  | Rain: 80% Chance by Dawn

Friday: Morning Rain, possible Thunder then Partly Cloudy by mid-afternoon

Highs: Near 75 | Rain: 100% AM  1/2-1" rain likely

This Weekend: Sunny and Delightful both Saturday and Sunday

Highs: mid 60s | Wind: Light

Another very warm day and for first time since early last September 2 85° days in a row.  A backdoor cool front has dropped our temperatures into the 50s now and with more stable air over us, the risk for morning thunder is diminishing.  But a "front door" cold front moving through the Midwest will sweep across the area tomorrow and bring rain and possibly even some morning thunderstorms with it.  Our hyperlocal futurecast for 9AM shows moderate rain in the metro area.

Drier air comes in by late in the afternoon and high pressure and some delightful air over us for the weekend . . . even if the rain washes away many of the cherry blossoms.
