A bit of a damp Monday morning, but the afternoon is looking drier with warmer temps on the way.

This Afternoon: Mostly Cloudy

Highs: Upper 60s | Wind: ESE 5-10

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy

Lows: Low 50s | Wind: SE 5

Tuesday: Partly Sunny

Highs: Mid 70s | Wind: S 10

A weak area of low pressure came close enough to bring some light rain/drizzle to the area this morning, but the bulk of the steady rain stayed to the Southwest of the metro.  It basically fell apart on top of us. Here's a look at the measurable rain in the past 24 hours.

Rainfall as of 9:30a.m.

A few light showers and/or sprinkles will be possible through the early afternoon hours, but mostly cloudy skies can be expected for the majority of us through the day today.  Pleasant temperatutes can be expected despite some cloudiness. Highs in the upper 60s today.  This week overall will be more active with several chances of rain.  No "big" systems expected until late Friday and into Saturday when a strong cold front brings showers and thunderstorms and a big cool down.  The rest of the week will feature "chances" for rain, but not much more impressive than today.
