Washington D.C. weather forecast: Cold overnight, Frost Advisory west

Overnight: Mainly Clear and Cold

Lows: 32°-40° | Wind: East 2-5 mph

Monday: Increasing P.M. Clouds

Highs: 54°-59° | Wind: East 10-15 mph

Tuesday: Mostly Cloudy, Drizzle

Highs: 57°-62° | Wind: North 5-10 mph

Get ready for a cold night, especially west of D.C. where a Frost Advisory has been issued. Counties that may see temperatures cold enough to damage sensitive plants include: Montgomery, Frederick (MD), Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, northern Fauquier, Rappahannock, Green and Madison. Lows will be in the 30s under mainly clear skies.

Clouds will increase on Monday with highs well below average for this time of year. Afternoon readings will be in the middle to upper 50s with easterly winds. The next best chance for showers will be Wednesday with highs approaching 70 degrees.
