After a dreary start, the sunshine is moving in.

This Afternoon:

Highs: Around 60 | Wind: NW 5-10

Lows: Mid 30s | Wind: N 5-10

Highs: Upper 50s | Wind: S 5-10

Rain has quickly moved out of the area and the cloud cover is giving way to sunshine. We've been patient. We've been waiting... and now, we are happy to see a warming trend in the forecast that starts today and stretches well through next week.  Rain was needed and here's a look at how much we got in the past 24 hours:

24 Hour Rainfall

For the weekend and early next week, chances of rain are minimal, but there are a few disturbances that will at least bring in some clouds.  On Sunday/Monday a weak front approaches, but very limited moisture will be available to squeeze out any rain.  Maybe a sprinkle can be expected.  The computer forecast models are trying to stall that front on top of us.  If it indeed does that, there may be more clouds than sun starting Sunday and continuing through Wednesday with a few sprinkles here and there.  However, I think that even if the front stalls, we will have some sunshine and mild temperatures. 70s can be expected next week.  Have a great weekend and do something outdoors!!
