Look for a mostly sunny and pleasantly cool afternoon with highs in the middle 60s.  Sunday will be partly sunny and still comfortably cool.

This Afternoon:  Mostly Sunny, A Bit Cool

Highs: 64-68 | Wind: E 5-10 mph

Tonight: Mostly Clear & Chilly

Lows: 42-49 | Wind: E 5-10 mph

Sunday: Mostly Sunny, Seasonably Cool

Highs: 60-66 | Wind: E 5-10 mph

While there's been a certain monotony to the weather this past week, it's one that is generating few complaints. For while the days have been consistently cooler than normal, the numbers are off by just a few degrees as the sun reigns supreme in crystalline blue skies.  Most every day starts with some cloudiness from an easterly flow before the sun breaks through and lasts right through sunset.  With high pressure still benevolently trapped overhead and a northeasterly flow of cooler air, the weekend will be quite similar to the past few days with skies that will be mostly sunny and temperatures in the cool, but comfortable 60s.

Our reverie will end late tomorrow as a low in the Mississippi valley draws closer and showers could begin falling as soon as late Sunday evening.  With that low aiming to lodge just to our east, the coming week looks mostly unsettled with showers possible through the period.  But for those yearning for warmer days, the mercury could near 80 by week's end.  Enjoy your Saturday!
