A delightful warm May day and first time in weeks our temperature has been above 80°.  Now showers and thundershowers are moving through the D.C. area.  Later tonight a break but more tomorrow.

A cold front moving though late Saturday will be the focus of showers and thundershowers Saturday.  Our hyperlocal futurecast simulation shows widespread showers over much of the area tomorrow afternoon.

Keep an eye on live Doppler.  The first showers may hold off until near the end of the race for the cure and some cool sunshine for Mother's Day.  Some frosty areas possible early next week.  Check out Alex's blog here.
