A frontal system will continue to make its trek southward bringing a few spotty showers and thunderstorms through the afternoon and early evening hours. A few of these storms could be strong to severe south of the DC area. Hopefully this will do well to get some of the pollen out of the region. Tree and grass pollen still reading high with moderate levels of mold:

This frontal system will stall out well to the south of our area through the weekend. Temperatures today, with a little mugginess, move into the mid to upper 80s. Sunshine moving in through the day tomorrow as highs slip a little, topping out in the lower 80s. Keeping Friday dry--whoo-hoo! However, for the weekend, expect clouds and a chance of rain each day. Highs drop a little too! Saturday, highs right around normal for this time of year, in the mid 70s. Sunday with overcast skies, temperatures will struggle to reach 70 degrees. A chance of showers and thunderstorms each day for the weekend.
