Washington D.C. Forecast: More Rain but Warmer

Heaviest rain west but still wet around D.C.

Overnight: Cloudy, More showers-heavy rain west

Lows: 55-60 | Rain: 1-3" possible west to Blue Ridge

Wednesday: Becoming Partly Cloudy and Warmer but also More Showers

Highs: Near 70 | Rain: 80% Chance

Thursday: Partly Cloudy, Warmer

Highs: 72-77 | Wind: W-SW 5-10

The rain continues to fall in parts of the region.  Rain gauges across the our area, particularly along the Blue Ridge, keep piling up.  Check out the highest WeatherBug rainfall totals, as of 11pm Tuesday night. 


Many of these areas remain under flood warnings, so be extra cautious on the roadways with possible standing water.  Our latest hyperlocal futurecast shows more showers and possible thunder tomorrow with some local heavy rain. 


A cold front with dry air will finally sweep in late Saturday to bring some sunshine back in time for Mother's Day!
