The area of low pressure that continues to plague our weather pattern is moving to the north and east finally. A few peeks of sunshine today and with temperatures into the upper 60s, nearing 70 with a nice southerly flow, pop up thunderstorms and more rain showers expected through the afternoon and evening. Overnight tonight, we will be drying out, however as this low pressure lifts to the north, a few straggler showers can’t be ruled out north of town before sunrise tomorrow morning. Other than that, sunshine through your Thursday with a chance of afternoon storms. A better chance of afternoon storms comes on Friday (a severe chance of storms north and west of town) as temperatures rise into the lower 80s. The weekend still looks unsettled with rain showers on Saturday and perhaps on Sunday as well.
