Mostly Sunny
Highs: Around 90

An end of the heat in sight.

We are midway through our heatwave. With high temps at 90 degrees Wednesday and Thursday; we have a threepeat today.  A blocking high pressure system is controlling our weather and keeping us with warm and humid conditions. Our air is stagnant with rather calm winds, so the air quality is at a code orange alert again. It will be a great weekend for the pool or beach.

Weekend Forecast

Saturday makes day four of 90 plus temperatures and then a storm system stuck in the nation's midsection will finally get pushed eastward.  By Sunday afternoon start thinking about indoor plans, showers and thunderstorms will be possible and may contain gusty winds and small hail.  Storms will continue on Monday as the cold front heads for the Atlantic with cooler, less humid air trailing behind. Our temperatures will drop at least ten degrees by Monday.  Have a great weekend.
