Is this seriously May?  Temperatures this morning were not historic, but they weren't too far off the mark.  Check out our morning lows.

Monday Morning Lows

The record at Dulles is 32 today, so we missed it by 5 and the record low for Reagan National is 39.  The cool spring weather continues for yet another day tomorrow.  In fact, Tuesday morning should be even colder with 30s for most of us in the suburbs and outlying areas and low 40s for Washington, D.C.  A Freeze Watch has been issued for the I-81 corridor and for Northern Maryland.

Freeze Watch

Any sensitive plants and emerging gardens should be protected, but this will not be a hard killing freeze.  A dip in the jetstream will be moving through today and tomorrow and should lift to our north by Wednesday. That will allow us back into the warm sector with highs in the 80s the rest of the week.  There are several chances of a few showers and thundestorms this week.
