Don't worry about those morning clouds, sunshine is here for the afternoon.

This Afternoon: Partly Cloudy

Highs: Around 70 | Wind: ENE 5-10

Tonight: Mostly Clear

Lows: 40s | Wind: NE 5

Friday: Partly Cloudy

Highs: Around 70 | Wind: ENE 10

It was a nippy start outside of the metro this morning with clear skies. A few of us dipped into the upper 30s!  It's the kind of day where layers are necessary, as this afternoon will be a lot like yesterday. Check out the morning lows.

Morning Lows

While the sun was here early this morning, the winds quickly turned due east and the marine layer swept in bringing clouds before 7a.m. Here is a cool timelapse video from our weatherbug camera on top of Washington Lee High School. Don't worry too much about the clouds, they should be breaking up this afternoon with partly cloudy skies.  That high pressure system that took over our weather yesterday will still dominate us the rest of the week and last through the weekend.  It's blocking out the midwest snowmaker for now, but it arrives as rain here early next week. High Temperatures will be flirting with the 70 degree mark for the entire period.
