Don't be fooled by the sun, the rain isn't gone altogether.

This Afternoon: Mostly Cloudy, a few showers

Highs: Upper 60s | Rain: 70%

Tonight: An evening shower, otherwise mostly cloudy

Highs: Mid 50s | Rain: 30%

Thursday: Partly Sunny, Isolated Showers

Highs: Low-mid 70s | Rain: 30%

So nice to see the sunshine this morning, if only a peek of it here and there.  Don't be fooled by the hints of sunshine, we will likely have more wet weather this afternoon and evening. Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible. In fact, a new flood watch has been issued for the Shenandoah Valley for additional rain on top of already saturated ground.

Flood Alerts

The sun will be back tomorrow, and a stray shower is possible mainly in the afternoon.  I can't keep rain chances out of the forecast until maybe Sunday. I know it's Mother's Day. A coastal system could get close enough to bring some clouds and a very small chance of a morning shower, but sunnier for Sunday afternoon.  We'll watch it closely for all of you Moms out there!
