The sunshine is popping out this afternoon and the temperatures are heating up.

This Afternoon:
Highs: Mid 80s
Wind: S 5-10
Tonight:
Lows: Upper 60s
Wind: S 5-10
Wednesday:
Highs: Mid to Upper 80s
Wind: S 5-10

Hot and sticky mid-week, storm chances increase next few days.

It will start feeling uncomfortable this afternoon as the clouds give way to more sunshine and it heats things up.  Temperatures will reach the mid 80s today, and there is a slight chance that we will have a brief pop up shower or thunderstorm.  Thunderstorm chances increase tomorrow and then again on Thursday as the cold front in the nation's mid-section gets closer.  There is a slight risk that a few of the thunderstorms will be severe tomorrow in Western Maryland and West Virginia.

Slight Risk for Storms Wednesday

More widespread storms in the area are expected on Thursday, and it all winds down by Friday morning to bring us a specatular Holiday weekend with sunshine, less humidity and temps in the 70s.
