Washington D.C. Forecast: Andrea exits mid-Atlantic

Rain associated with Andrea has come to an end and brighter skies are in the forecast for Saturday.

Rain will exit the region tonight but sunshine should return by the weekend.

Post-Tropical Cyclone Andrea is heading towards the northeast at speeds close to 30 mph. Rain will taper off during the overnight hours and end as Andrea whizzes across the Lower Eastern Shore. Warm and muggy conditions are in the forecast for the weekend. Our forecast includes partly sunny skies with a chance of scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
