Temperatures will be on the rise through the weekend but there is a chance clouds may creep in at times as well.
Over the next few days, an area of high pressure off the Atlantic coast will allow for hazy, hot and humid days.
Over the weekend and through the first few days of next week, highs will reach the 90 degree mark and humidity levels will slowly increase as surface and mid-level winds start backing to the south and southwest. We may see a break in the heat and humidity by next Friday. Some computer models suggest a wave of low pressure could develop along the North Carolina coast by tomorrow night or Saturday and quickly move out to sea. If it happens, it could bring cloudy skies to the beaches.
