Hazy, Hot and Humid as we finish out this work week. Any break from this heat in the future?

Get ready for yet another hot and humid day in the DC area. However, today we will see temperatures rise into the mid-90s! That means with the combined humidity, heat indices could approach 100 degrees!—(Remember, that is the “feels-like” temperature). A chance for some pretty strong storms this afternoon moving in from the northwest, most of these should continue through the evening hours. Some of these storms could produce some damaging winds and some hail.

An unsettled day tomorrow as a cold front approaches the region bringing an increased chance of scattered afternoon thunderstorms, some that could be strong. As we head into Friday, temperatures slip into the upper 80s and stay there for the remainder of the weekend. A chance of storms persists Friday afternoon and through the weekend as well.
