Cooling down as we finish up Spring but hot weather returns for the weekend!

High pressure building into the north meaning a nice northerly wind will one: cool us down, two: bring lower humidity to the region. Gradual clearing today with highs touching 80 degrees. Downright chilly in some spots overnight with lows in the mid to upper 50s to lower 60s under clear skies. This would be a great time to open those windows. You may even need a light jacket early tomorrow morning when you head out as temperatures will still be a little on the cool side. Expect more sunshine on Thursday but keeping the low dewpoints and temperatures in the low 80s. High pressure gradually slips off the coast by Thursday night/Friday morning and that means a returns of heat and humidity, right on par with the official start of Summer – which will occur at 1:04AM on Friday! Highs on Friday in the mid-80s, Saturday to the upper 80s and nearing 90 on Sunday. Only a chance of isolated storms these days, mainly west of the DC area. The next chance of rain comes early next week! ENJOY!
