If you took this week off to enjoy lots of sunshine, sorry about that. We are in an increasingly unsettled weather pattern. The heavy downpours have moved out of the area. But as a warm front continues to advance through the region today, there will be more showers and more thunderstorms and likely more heavy downpours. Showers and thunderstorms will continue tonight.
Partly sunny skies are forecast tomorrow and Wednesday with warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the middle 80s tomorrow and may approach 90 degrees on Wednesday. And there will be a decent chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms both days. An energetic weather disturbance could trigger widespread showers and thunderstorms on Thursday. Skies will clear on Friday as a cold front pushes the wet weathern off shore.
