Repeat weather the next few days, but things change up late week.

A bit of a rough afternoon/evening with some thunderstorms reaching severe levels.  Wind gust reports up to 73mph as shown here on our weatherbug network.

Peak Wind Gusts

All that is gone now, but the next few days will be active.  High pressure off the Atlantic Coast will usher in hot and humid air.  Enough instability with afternoon heating will trigger some pop up thunderstorms between 3p-7p again Tuesday and Wednesday.  By late Thursday, a cold front will bring more widespread thunderstorms, some of which may become severe.  This will linger into Friday, before temperature cool a bit into the mid-upper 80s.  Rain chances remail all week.
