High pressure off the coast will pump hot and humid air across the mid-Atlantic this week.

Overnight:
Scattered Showers, Patchy Fog
Lows: 65°-73°
Wind: Southwest 2-5 mph
Monday:
Partly Sunny, PM T-Storms (30%)

Tuesday:

For as comfortable as it was this weekend, that is how uncomfortable it will be this week. Scattered showers will dot the radar overnight, but don't expect much. Patchy fog may form during the early morning hours as temperatures fall into the middle 60s to lower 70s.

Monday will bring a nice mix of sun and clouds along with about a 30-percent chance for showers and thunderstorms. Afternoon temperatures will rebound to the upper 80s to lower 90s. The core of the hottest air arrives Tuesday and lasts until Thursday. Temperatures will be in the lower to middle 90s with heat index readings in the upper 90s.
