The two warmest days of the week upon us.

Very warm and muggy conditions today and Wednesday before a strong storm system moves into our area and renews the threat of flooding and damaging winds.  Today, will be partly sunny and there is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon.  The greatest probability of this happening is in southern Maryland.  Most of us will have a dry day.  Wednesday looks mostly sunny with highs near 90 degrees.  Wednesday night things start to change. A complex of thunderstorms may be developing in the Midwest and then travel to the Mid-Atlantic on Thursday. Still a bit of uncertainty on development, timing and track.  Even if it misses us, there is a decent chance of linear storms that can cause damaging winds. We'll keep you up to date on the storm potential.
