Frequent chances of showers early week, drying out to end it.

Chance of showers on and off the next few days as a frontal boundary stalls near us.

This Afternoon Forecast

It will be warm and muggy today with a few showers and Isolated Thunderstorms possible. The highest probability of this happening is in southern Maryland.  I do not anticipate that the storms will be severe this week.  Tonight we should have quiet and warm conditions, but shower chances return especially in the afternoon on Tuesday.  An area of low pressure will develop along the front keeping chances of showers in the forecast through Wednesday morning, then high pressure nudges into the region and keeps us dry through the rest of the week with more sunshine.
