Washington D.C. weather forecast: Patchy fog overnight, warm and humid Sunday

Patchy fog will develop overnight, but will clear by early Sunday. Chances for showers and thunderstorms increase for start of work week.

Showers and Thunderstorms (80%)

It will remain mild and muggy overnight as temperatures fall into the 60s. Light fog will develop during the early morning hours as winds diminish. Clouds will increase Sunday afternoon along with the chances for a few showers and thunderstorms. Highs will rebound into the middle 80s. 

A warm front will lift northward late Sunday night and into Monday increasing the chances for widespread showers and thunderstorms. Highs Monday will be in the lower 80s with overnight lows in the 60s.
