Today may be the hottest day we have experienced all year – with highs peaking near 95 degrees! At times it could feel like 100º or higher with a couple of afternoon thunderstorms possible, some of which could be heavy to severe. An approaching cold front will bring an increased risk for scattered thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon and these could be strong to severe. The heat will ease later in the week but daily afternoon thundershower chances linger into next week. Not a wash out at all…but just the typical summer pattern that sets up with a hot and humid spate. Stay cool and have a great day!
