Washington DC Weather: Very hot and humid with some afternoon storms

More heat and humidity with a couple of afternoon storms…

Patchy Clouds, Hot & Humid, 40% Chance Spotty Afternoon Storms
Highs: Low to Mid 90s
Wind: SW 5-10 mph
Isolated T’Shower Early, Otherwise Partly Cloudy, Muggy & Mild
Lows: 66º-74º
Wind: SW 3-5 mph
Hot & Steamy, Stray PM Storms (30% Chance)
Highs: Low to Mid 90s
Wind: WSW 5-10 mph

Scattered storms erupted yesterday and packed quite a punch with a wind gust of 73 mph reported at Loudoun County HS! Today and tomorrow will feature more heat and humidity with sultry afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s. At times it could feel like 100º or higher with a couple of afternoon thunderstorms possible. Late week an approaching cold front may decrease the heat slightly, but daily storm chances linger. Stay cool and have a great day!
