An elongated area of low pressure continues across our area as an area of low pressure approaches from the west. This combination had created the tropical looking clouds, periods of sunshine, warm and humid temperatures and it will lead to increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms this evening and tonight. An approaching cold front will provide another chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms tomorrow.
As the front slowly clears the area of Wednesday, humidity will slowly drop. By Thursday, drier and cooler air will finally arrive with BELOW AVERAGE temperatures.
