As a cold front approaches the region, humidity levels will slowly drop tonight and through the day tomorrow.  A line of showers and storms over the Ohio Valley will track southeast, but most of the precipitation will diminish by the time it reaches the mountains.  Only an isolated shower is possible overnight and early tomorrow morning, as the front slides through.

Breezy northwest winds will help usher in the drier air beginning tomorrow. By Thursday and Friday, a two-day break from the oppressive heat and humidity as high pressure builds across the mid-Atlantic States. High temperatures should reach the mid 80s Wednesday through Friday, with some areas only possibly reaching the lower 80s.
